Short Version
My name is Alex Spyropoulos, I live and work in London. I deliver still frames, animations and concept design. I have a state of the art inhouse rendering farm and a network of highly skilled freelancers and writers for larger commissions.
Long Version
I am a 3D visualiser, experiential designer and creative director. In the realm of 3D computer graphics I am interested in architectural visualisation, animation, digital sculpting and 3D printing, as well as games, real-time applications and cloud reviewing.
I am also interested in narrative as storytelling in space, utilising diverse methods and practices such as experimental technologies, sculpture, set design, collage, games, live performance and any form of interaction. As an antidote to the world of computer graphics I have grown fond of the tactile nature and craftmanship of objects and enamoured with the stories they have to tell.
With 18 years experience in these fields, I have worked with some of the biggest experiential design companies in the UK and I was the creative director of Stiki Pixels for the video game Occupy White Walls. I have always worked in multidisciplinary environments, where I have grown to deeply understand a variety of practices and learned how to maximise the potential of each team I work with.
I have worked on projects such as the Great Pyramid Museum, David Bowie exhibition for the V&A, Polytechnic museum Moscow, EDF pavilion for the 2012 London Olympics, National Maritime Museum in London and various others projects in Europe, Middle East, Asia and South America. I have worked for museums, world expos, large scale events, architecture practices, temporary exhibitions and theme parks,
I have been commissioned by some great companies in London like Event Communications, Real Studios, MET Studio, Ralph Applebaum Associates, KCA, Cultural Innovations and Form at Large as a senior 3D designer and visualiser.
